7: Summary

This section presented foundational sources of formal LMI for the CDP’s toolkit. We reviewed the NOC classification system, Job Bank and its three key sections, Sector Councils and Industry Associations, that the recommended, trusted resources used by the Labour Market Information Council (LMIC). We also reviewed tips and traps to consider when integrating formal LMI into your practice. You can build on this initial toolkit with additional LMI sources that reflect your role and the unique LMI needs of the clients you serve.
