4: Summary

This section looked at the importance of information – including LMI – in decision-making and the relationship between using information to make choices in our everyday lives and career contexts. It explored what we can do to be good decision-making coaches in our practice, helping clients use a few key research principles that can guide them in making informed decisions about their careers.

Information alone does not make decisions for us, but it does makes decisions feel more grounded, more intentional, and more aligned with personal goals. This is the heart of LMI-informed career development.
