6: Summary

In this module, we reviewed informal LMI and its many sources, including those we access through Print, People, and Places. Informal LMI is not lesser LMI than formal LMI. It can give you and your clients important information that can influence career decisions. While informal LMI is all around us, we need to use intentional observation to see it. This module focussed on defining informal LMI, developing facility in recognizing its many sources, and identifying the types of questions that informal LMI is best positioned to answer.
