1: Introduction and Module Learning Objectives 

The internet provides an overwhelming abundance of formal LMI sources. You don’t need to know them all to be a great CDP. You do, however, need an LMI toolkit with several key sources at your fingertips. Building an LMI toolkit that helps to answer the common questions your clients have demonstrates your understanding of your role and of the needs of the clients that you serve.

In this module, we provide an orientation to essential formal LMI sources you’ll want to be familiar with no matter what your role and who you serve, including The National Occupational Classification System (NOC), Job Bank, Sector Councils and Industry Associations, and The Labour Market Information Council (LMIC).
